Scotia Capital announces new eFX functionality

Scotia Capital’s Foreign Exchange Group continues to enhance client service and FX liquidity through its e-commerce channels under the guidance of Barry Wainstein, Global Head of Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals, Scotia Capital.Recent upgrades to ScotiaFX include functionality for streaming foreign exchange rates. This application enables clients to launch a request-for-quote panel for spot, forwards and swaps. Bulk trading functionality, which is targeted to the fund management community, has also been introduced. Users of the bulk trading capability have the ability to trade multiple accounts within the same currency pair at the time of trade submission, without the need to send breakdown information after trade execution. Clients using the bulk trading functionality will continue to benefit from the auto-trader facility where price requests are automatically handled....continued
