Bloomberg rolls out FX Batch Manager

Bloomberg has recently rolled out its FX Batch Manager,automating what has always been a manual process of aggregating FX exposures from multiple currency pairs and tenors and netting them together to be priced by a number of banks. The Batch Manager is targeted at any money manager, institution or corporation that needs to trade strips of FX spot and forwards. Once the batched order has been priced, the user has the option of selecting which prices to accept, and may elect to either trade the entire block with a single counterparty or trade individual currency pairs with different institutions. The product works seamlessly with Bloomberg’s Execution Manager and is the latest addition to their commission-free FX trading environment.
