Electronic trading in the spot market, from non-traditional participants, notably from alternative asset managers (i.e. hedge funds) has risen significantly.2. Trading volume of exchange traded derivative products has also increased sharply.3. Alternative multi-dealer trading marketplaces have continued to grow. These have been launched by a variety of organizations, many of which have not been associated with the FX market in the past.4.
