How to offer the MT4 Platform to your Forex Traders without having to maintain an MT4 Server or Bridge

Even with the MetaTrader 4 platform’s large retail FX client penetration, some clearing firms have resisted offering this platform. A modern MT4 install has many moving pieces that require careful configuration and often times dedicated staffing to maintain.. However, a new generation of service providers makes it easy for brokerages and banks to offer the MT4 platform to clients by shifting to a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.  The SaaS model links an MT4 platform (either owned or leased) directly to the brokerage or bank’s liquidity providers and backoffice systems. The bank or brokerage can outsource the implementation and management of a MT4 server, and can lease the software that links the MT4 server to different liquidity pools and reporting systems. The bank or brokerage pays on a transactional basis so there is little or no upfront investment and expenses are closely tied to revenues.
