What are the latest developments at CFH Clearing?

We are continually evolving, investing in our people, technology and products in order to remain a market leader. Our most recent development is the addition of a new FX Prime Broker, which strengthens our position even further. We selected BNP Paribas after a rigorous process. They really impressed us with their strong credit rating, speed of onboarding, competitive terms and robust systems. Our partnership with BNP Paribas presents us with huge opportunities to grow our institutional client base.

Has this been the catalyst for broadening your liquidity offering? 

Absolutely. It’s as a result of our strong relationships with our Prime Brokers and many Liquidity Providers that we are now able to provide clients with access to a wealth of Bank Liquidity Providers and Liquidity Venues according to their requirements outside our existing panel. We can now clear any venue, offer a wide range of alternative Liquidity Providers and accommodate multiple third party platforms including Currenex and Hotspot. We believe this is a unique offering. It provides CFH Clearing’s clients with the flexibility to access the whole market.

Is your ClearVision technology still proving particularly popular?

Brokers and banks worldwide find ClearVision to be a really compelling offering as it gives them the ability to manage liquidity, risk, collateral and reporting all with one platform.Clients welcome the fact that, by partnering with us, they can have one back office, one risk overview, one prime of prime account, access to multiple liquidity venues and multiple front ends. For example, through ClearVision regulated entities can centrally manage multiple books of business very effectively. This is becoming even more prevalent due to regulatory guidelines or changes in trading conditions such as Leverage or Capital Adequacy requirements. There are a number of automated risk management and hedging features in ClearVision that enable a broker to dynamically manage client risk whilst abiding by their own local permissions.

We focus on giving clients all the tools they need to grow their businesses and operate more effectively – and ClearVision is a key part of that proposition. It’s really helped us to attract new clients worldwide – from large banks and brokers as well as start-up and adolescent brokers looking to take their business to the next level.

You have experienced significant business growth since SNB events. What would you say is the secret to your success?

It’s the quality of our products and services combined with our focus on high service levels, reliability and flexibility. Clients - whether using our liquidity, our technology or both - have a great deal of choice when they partner with us and benefit from a highly customised approach.Another key ingredient is our exceptional team. Having excellent products and a highly respected management team has helped us to attract some of the most talented people in the industry. 

In addition, Dipak Rastogi, former Citibank executive joined the CFH Group board this year and is playing a key role in our global expansion. He has extensive deal making and financial markets experience gained from over 30 years in senior management roles and his insight is invaluable.

What are your future plans?

The future is looking bright for us. We are on track to meet or exceed all our targets for 2015 and have ambitious growth plans for 2016, including expanding the business in Asia and the Middle East. With Dipak Rastogi on the board and a strong new business pipeline in all key FX regions, we are feeling optimistic about our future growth.

On a more tactical level, we will be broadening our product range by adding a leading Tier 1 CFD Liquidity Provider to our portfolio. We will also continue to invest heavily in both our infrastructure and software development, with a major focus on automation and optimisation.
