Hotspot FXi has officially opened its European regional office in London to more effectively service its European bank and client base. This is the beginning of an aggressive expansion policy, which will see the company shortly open an office in Asia as part of their global rollout. Initially, the European office will be staffed with two new additions to the Hotspot FXi team, Rakesh Shah and Martin Elsom. The company is currently interviewing to fill additional spots in the UK and in Singapore.

Rakesh Shah joins Hotspot FXi from Credit Agricole Indosuez, New York, where he was instrumental in marketing their FX Prime Brokerage business. Martin Elsom joins Hotspot FXi from EBS where he ran sales in Australasia, North America and then Northern Europe. Previously he served as Chief Dealer at both BNP and Citi in Sydney.
