Morgan Stanley has added foreign exchange trading functionality to Passport, the firms web-based multi-product execution and order management tool for qualified institutional customers. Clients can deal spot, forward and swap currency transactions by requesting live quotes, submitting market orders or receiving streaming dealable prices directly to their trade blotter.
Passport allows Morgan Stanley clients to trade equities, futures and foreign exchange. Passport connects clients directly to global exchanges, Electronic Communication Networks (ECNs) or their Morgan Stanley salesperson. Passports Market Watch capability allows a client to see prices for all instruments that are available through the system, including indicative rates for selected currencies. Clients can create multiple portfolios to match their trading style and work orders over the course of the day.
