On November the 27th the DACT organised a Treasury Day for its members, which was held at "The Habour" Congress & Event Center in Zeewolde.
The DACT is the Dutch equivalent of the ACT in the UK. The intention of the Treasury Day was to give members of the DACT and other key-employees working in financial roles the opportunity to meet each other and several suppliers in this market. Also during this day 10 workshops were organised by the DACT covering all kind of different topics. The topics that were covered ranged from cash management, interest management, hedging under IFRS, financing, ratings, treasury systems, outsourcing and IFRS.
The day was opened by the Chairman of the DACT and after his speech, the attendees were able to attend the first two workshops or speak to any of the stand-holders (30) in the exhibition area. From the supplier side 30 companies were participating from banks, systems, DR-companies, head-hunters, consultants, data vendors and electronic dealing systems. These included FXall and 360T. A wide spread of companies was available and for the members it was a good representation of what is currently available in the market.

It was the first time the DACT organised such an event and probably also the first time a large number of the Dutch Corporate Treasurers have got together.
