Commonwealth Bank goes live with eGlobalTrader

SunGard Trading Systems/FRONT, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), has announced that Commonwealth Bank of Australia has gone live with eGlobalTrader (eGT), its browser-based dealer distribution solution, for front-office deal capture of foreign exchange and money markets.

SunGard Trading Systems/FRONT, an operating unit of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), has announced that Commonwealth Bank of Australia has gone live with eGlobalTrader (eGT), its browser-based dealer distribution solution, for front-office deal capture of foreign exchange and money markets. eGT will be used by Commonwealth Banks distribution dealers in nine dealing rooms located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Auckland, Tokyo, New York, and London.
"The successful go-live of eGT with its use of a standard Web browser will enable greater scalability and flexibility in the way our dealers service their clients from our various global locations" says Geoff Kelly, Commonwealth Bank of Australia General Manager, Business Systems, in the Bank's Institutional and Business Services Division. The Bank will use eGT for pricing, capturing and processing its customers foreign exchange transactions including spot, forward, swaps, FX extension / pre-deliveries and multi-currency money market (loans and deposits).
