UBS Warburg has recently added click-and-deal trading in spot, forwards, and options, directly via links on its research portal. For FX spot, forwards, and swaps, a new user-interface has been developed that launches directly from the banks FX Web research portal. This enables customers of the banks award winning client website to launch a request-for-quote panel with one click, from any page within the site. In addition, the banks FX Option Trader tool has been given its own quick link on the portal, and has been embedded within UBS Warburgs VolCast application. This allows users of the research, analytics, and trading applications to access everything from one central location, and makes trading directly from the web site much more straight-forward.
UBS also announced that exotic options, such as barries, range binaries, and payout structures, have been added to FX Option Trader. These structures can now be traded automatically by clients, using the same click-and-deal functionality as standard vanilla structures. The chat facility is still available, however, if users would rather transact that way, or would like to discuss a structure with their adviser.
