On 18th of January 2011 TMS Brokers debuted on the NewConnect market, operated by the Warsaw Stock Exchange. During the first session, TMS prices were up by 30% (79,90 zł per share). Investors purchased over 1,395 mln shares offered in the IPO, which accounts for only 39% of share capital.
“The market granted us with trust as we have shown the company’s solid foundations. We also promise to keep a transparent dividend policy. I want to allocate funds raised from the sale of my shares on establishing the first hedge fund in Poland specializing in foreign exchange and futures contracts markets. That will be something completely new on Polish market,” said Mariusz Potaczała, TMS Brokers CEO.
The value of shares purchased in the IPO amounts to over 85 mln zł (approximatly Eur 22,000,000) which is the largest sale to date in the history of the NewConnect market.
